The client's website, onboarding document and kick-off notes are filled in as account variables. The Dentists template turns them into campaigns: a new one for Zahnarzt Dr. Müller as a paused draft, next to two active campaigns for other dental practices built from the same template.
What agencies do with templates.
Five everyday situations, and how a template handles each one.
-
01Onboarding
A new dentist signs.
- What
- Your 11th dental practice needs the same Search campaign as the other 10.

02Improvement
A better negative keyword list.
- What
- You find negatives that save budget in one dentist account.

03Checks
A headline that is too long.
- What
- A long city name makes headline 2 run to 34 characters.
- How
- The check before publishing flags it, per client, before anything reaches Google Ads.

04Review
The client wants to see it first.
- What

Questions about Templates
Short answers to what agencies ask us most.
What can a template hold?
A complete Search campaign: campaign settings, ad groups, responsive search ads, keywords with match types, negative keywords, sitelinks, callouts, structured snippets and call extensions.
What happens to live campaigns when I change a template?
Nothing, until you roll out the new version. Then every campaign built from the template follows, and fields a campaign changed locally stay as they are.
What if a client's details are missing?
Before a campaign or a new version goes out, AdsCockpit lists the variables each client is still missing.
Does a new campaign go live straight away?
Only if you want it to. You publish each campaign as a paused draft or live.
What happens to my campaigns if I stop using AdsCockpit?
Nothing. Your campaigns live in Google Ads, not in AdsCockpit, and keep running as they are.
